Where can I download the plugin / I don't have access to plugin?​

Trados pugin is for limited access. See the "Trados Studio plugin" and "Contact us" pages on the platform for contact info.

What is pre-translation?​

Pre-translation fills the whole document with translations from machine translation engine. You can edit the translations afterwards.

How can I make pre-translation faster?​

The translation speed depends on the load of the translation engine and the length of the text. You can divide long documents and not translate several files at once to see the partial results quicker.

Can I use the same access key for multiple projects?​

You can use the same access key for multiple projects.

I forgot to enable pre-translate while creating the project​

To pre-translate a document from the Editor view:

  1. In the top toolbar open Batch Tasks menu.
  2. Click Pre-translate Files.
  3. In Batch Processing window click Next.
  4. Find Pre-translate files.
  5. Under When no match found select Apply automatic translation.
  6. Click Finish.

How can I remove the plugin?​

To uninstall the plugin:

  1. Open Windows Search.
  2. Type "Sdl Plugin Management" and open the app.
  3. In the list, find the plugin and click Uninstall.
